8 March: HSMAI Region Europe pre ITB event in Sales and Digital Marketing

In February in London we had several small Think Tanks focusing on Distribution, Revenue Management, Service Operation, and a Think Tank for Hotel Management Companies.

We will do a fifth Think Tank this year taking place the day before ITB at the Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm on Tuesday 8 March 2016. It will focus on the new role of the Sales Manager. We have set the following title for the Think Tank:

What does the Profile of the Hospitality Sales Manager 2020 look like?

The newly established HSMAI Region Europe Sales Executive Advisory Board and a few other invited guests will do a small Think Tank around their thoughts on the profile of the Hospitality Sales Manager 2020. They will give you insight on their plans, thoughts and goals for the future of Sales in Europe, and we invite a few guests who can share their thoughts with us.

If you are interested in joining the Think Tank, please send an email to Kaisla at ks@hsmai.eu

You will meet:

Alexander Hoerner, Vice President Sales at Steigenberger Hotel Group (Chair HSMAI Region Europe Sales Executive Advisory Board)
Kerstin Gibert, Director International Sales, Robinson Club GmbH (EMEA)
Roland Elter, Group Commercial Director at Maritim Hotelgesellschaft mbH
Juliet Howie, Commercial Director Global Sales Force at NH Hotel group
Peter Schmidt, Vice President Sales Germany at Accor Hospitality Germany GmbH
Brigitte T. Gruber, Founder and Managing Director, Reburg & Partners

All members of the HSMAI Region Europe Sales Executive Advisory Board.

After the lively discussion, the day will continue with the European commencement of the global Digital marketing CHDM certification pre workshop. For those specialised in Digital Marketing it is possible to do the certification exam at the end of the day and become CHDM certified. This is your chance to be amongst the first Europeans to obtain the globally recognised certification for Certified Hospitality Digital Marketers.

The pre CHDM workshop will be lead by Niklas Schlappkohl, Senior Director, eCommerce, The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group and Chair of the HSMAI Region Europe Digital Marketing Advisory Board, accompanied by Frank Reeves, CEO and Co-founder, Avvio, and a member of the HSMAI Region Europe Digital Marketing Advisory Board.

The CHDM workshop is an interactive workshop concentrating on the study guide for the CHDM certification, with the main focuses being on:
